Kristian Hagen, MS, CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Kristian is a California native who received her Bachelor's degree from California State University of Fullerton and her Master's degree from San Francisco State University in Communicative Disorders. After completing her Master's degree, Kristian worked in both acute inpatient and outpatient hospital settings treating adults with dysphagia and neurogenic disorders. She had the opportunity to volunteer her professional skills in Bosnia where she teamed up with behavioral therapists, special educators, physicians from the United States and students from the University of Tuzla in Bosnia. There she provided speech and language therapy to children in their home while also helping the autism specialists open Sarajevo's first classroom to treat children ages 3 to 5 with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Back in the U.S., she continued to provide early intervention therapy to infants as young as three weeks old to toddlers up through three years old in natural environments. She also worked with children and adolescents with varying disabilities in non-profit preschool programs, public schools, behavioral health programs, charter schools and private clinics. She has gained valuable experience collaborating with professionals while working alongside children with varying special needs. Kristian is thrilled to share her knowledge in helping families use practical strategies to enhance their child's speech and language skills.
